Pattern Drafting & Grading
Pattern drafting is the basis of all fashion production. Our pattern drafters can create a pattern based on a block, sketch, photo, garment or even just a description. Once the pattern has been completed our team will make a toile of the garment to make sure you are happy with the fit and the shape. When you are satisfied the pattern will then be graded to the sizes you require. We are happy to grade block patterns that you provide as well.
Sampling is without doubt the most important element in garment production. It is only through sampling that you can see you garment come to life and tweak the design to your satisfaction. Not only that but we will be able to help you identify the most cost effective and efficient method of production without comprising your designs. Once this is finished you are ready to move to garment production.
We love working with all types of customers not just fashion designers and are delight to produce one off pieces for any occasion - mother of the bride, debs dresses, communion dresses or costume designs to name a few. Our team can work off a sketch, photo, garment or just a description.
At The Complete Design Studio we do production runs for many different types of fabric products including fashion, costumes, uniforms, homewares (cushions, sheets etc) and packaging to name a few. We can cater for smaller production runs as well as large orders.
Find the right fabric for your designs can be difficult. It is essential to find the perfect fabric to bring any design to life. We work with many different fabric suppliers and source fabrics from all over the world.
Bridal alterations are our speciality. We have a team of specialised tailors and seamstresses who are experienced in working with all types of bridal fabrics such as lace, tulle and beads. Altering a wedding dress requires a particular skill to make sure that none of the style or detail of the dress is lost in the fitting process.
We are happy to work with designers to create detailed Tech Pack for their collections. Tech Packs are a necessity for large production runs as the manufacturer will be able to produce the garments correctly with minimal errors and less time spent on querying the designs.
